PROJECT CHANGE IS A REGISTERED NOT-FOR-PROFIT AUSTRALIAN CHARITY
We are dedicated to educating and empowering women to end the cycle of poverty, abuse and sex trafficking.
Families living in extreme poverty can rarely afford an education for their children.
Parents are forced to allow their daughters to be sold into sex work or exploited and abused in low-paid factory jobs. These communities often have no access to proper food, clean water, medicine or education – and no way of escaping the cycle of poverty.

Education
We provide education and learning supplies to vulnerable young women in impoverished communities, and assist them to get into university.

Nourishment & Support
We provide food, clean water, and support to all of our students, many of whom have survived or are enduring significant trauma.

Opportunity
We empower our students to end educational disadvantage, to access healthcare, and to pursue meaningful employment.
OUR MISSION, VISION & VALUES
Our mission is to empower vulnerable young women through education, so they may break the cycle of poverty and exploitation.
Our vision is to facilitate long term, self-sustaining change in impoverished communities that have broken the hold of poverty through a cycle of education, opportunity and employment.
Because we believe everyone is entitled to more than just survival.

CAMBODIA
Our Community Centre
In the Takeo province of Cambodia, our community centre is a safe-haven for vulnerable girls and young women to be educated, access food, clean drinking water, healthcare and support. This community centre provides the safety and security for young women to overcome severe trauma to complete high school, learn English, learn skills to benefit the community, and enable them the opportunity to attend university.
